ADT Blue does not work effectively unless you have a topnotch (fast) internet provider. I have CenturyLink installed b/c it's the only provider in my area. It doesn't have the speed and bandwidth needed to support the alarm system. ADT pressures you into a longterm contract even though they knew CenturyLink couldn't support it. A test was run.It has never worked for me. Please don't sign a long term agreement with ADT. I had the Best Buy Geek Squad install my system. They couldn't get it work.
App is fine but ADT blue is horrible, had nothing but problems with the outside camera's since I got it but now after the 4th or 5th camera (lost count) that they sent me it seems to be working really good SO FAR... The cameras were constantly going offline and never recording even after having the chime but so far so good with this 4th or 5th camera, keeping my fingers crossed.. also I have the camera hung up correctly and secure and it keeps falling off and I don't know why... Rrr NEVER AGAIN
*UPDATE* Logged me out on its own and won't allow me to log back in using the password that I had written down, so I know it's correct. Repeated errors changing it. Now I'm locked out for too many attempts 10-14-21 Junk. Notifications whenever tf they feel like giving em to you. Either way you don't get em unless you phone is literally on the Blue App screen. Sometimes the sensors work, sometimes they don't. Should've kept my Ring setup. At least it was consistent. Oh well. Fingers crossed!
