Its a simple game of you responding to questions that help boost efficiency in your neighbourhood. How?

Your responses to actions, products and home stories build a stream of improvements for your house and bulk discounts for other houses around you. All information is fully secured and anonymous.

When your neighbourhood has enough users, you all get an invitation to join the upgrade club. Local homeowners and renters, working together, to get efficiency and optimization improvements.

All data is stored securely and anonymously. We never actually learn where you live, just your postal code (which tells us the street youre on, but not which house or unit). The data is governed by members of the upgrade club, who vote on how it can be used.

Back in the day we would ask a neighbour to borrow a few eggs, or a cup of sugar from time to time. But then the internet, and effortless convenience happened. Why ask a neighbour when you can order it online? Who needs a neighbour when you have the internet?

Now for the first time in Canada, its possible to work with your neighbours in getting home upgrades; even if you never meet them. Try it with your kids! Our design is simple and a great way to teach children about homes. Make it a scavenger hunt and watch how much easier it becomes to remind them about turning off the lights.

Start the journey by answering 20 questions about the efficiency of your house. That information builds a baseline for your home and a map of potential upgrades. You and your neighbours all have access to improvements which you can purchase together and receive bulk discounts.

The discount increases as more people buy into it. We verify local businesses to ensure you get the best quality and our algorithm makes sure you only install upgrades you really need. For example, we wont try and sell you LEDs for your cold basement, it would hardly save you money and wouldnt help the environment much either. Any upgrade that is installed receives a neighbour-safe guarantee.

Actions you commit to within the app create a way for you to form key efficiency habits and inspire others to do the same. Sometimes the biggest efficiency and cost saving wins come from simple (and free) habit changes.
