I have two aurora lights in one room. The app keeps logging in and about 99% of the time it doesn't find the lights, while they are clearly there if I check my Bluetooth list. On my friends iPhone the lights can always be found. On my android ones! That one time I had it, the physical remote stopped working (also on iPhone). Seeing as the remote is typically more useful than the app I removed the lights from the app so remote is restored. Since then, both remote and app light detection is dead.
Bought 4 GU10 bulbs which came with a remote control and this app to refine some features of the bulbs, eg brightness or colour or even setting a timer to come on or off. When I assigned the bulbs to a room the remote would no longer work and the app isn't user friendly enough for everyday use. Also why does an app to control some bulbs need to have GPS activated in order to work??
App when working is okay. Keeps losing connection to the lights. Does not recognise them. Installed and uninstalled this app 3 times. Factory reset bulbs twice. Sort yourselves out.
Not a good app at all. It keeps forgetting which lights are assigned to which rooms so I end up switching off the lights everywhere in the house while trying to switch off the lights in my bedroom. Its just idiotic
So disappointing, clunky, unclear app, slow to respond, freezes and crashes. I'll stick with my Hue system and pay the premium !"
