Comments:
App works well and was pretty easy to setup, love being able to check those long term smokes away from the house now. The app does most everything I need but I feel it could use a little refresh it feels a little dated. Some suggestions sound be adding timers in the app and making the main screen more interactive. For example when I click on the temp it should prompt me for a new temp rather than having to open the settings to change it. Same with the other settings where possible.
Was working ok, every once in awhile I had to delete my device and reconnect, inconvenient but not a big deal. But since August update I can't connect at all, even after following all the troubleshooting tips.
The cooking interface works great. Makes long smokes very easy. Only change to the app that I would prefer is that the app needs to run in the back ground similar to I grill. The alarm can only be heard if your phone is unlocked and you are actively viewing the app.
Ever since the app updated it crashes seconds after opening. Have uninstalled and reinstalled, no change and no response from tech support. I'm unimpressed. UPDATE; Tech support called to inform me of an upate that would address my problem, and it did.
