Users are able to open the app and tap a button to start listening. The app would then record a brief audio sample and compare it to its database of around 8,000 famous anime dialogues to identify the closest match. If a match is found, the app would display the title of the anime, and the anime character who spoke that dialogue.

The in development features of the app includes features such as a history of recent identifications, the ability to share identifications with friends and links to where users can watch or purchase the identified anime.
