Comments:
This app provides exactly what I hoped it would. It allows me to load a PGN database of games, play through the games, and to analyze those games with the computer chess engine of my choice. It is particularly agreeable that there are no ads distracting me, or hogging valuable screen space on my small phone. Well-executed, perfectly functional, and well-liked. A big thank you to the developers.
This may be a good app, I will never know as there is no way to open pin files locally, import or even paste a pan lol. Seems this basic option is only available in purchase version. It's not just you, so many apps only give you the minimum and leave out ways to open and save games from device and that will remain to be a show stopper for me. If I have to put up with ads, at least let me have ability to load local games or post, otherwise just another useless ad app only good for beginers.
A powerful chess analyzer which includes Stockfish9 (Stockfish10 can be downloaded from Stockfish free). PGN files can be added so you can group your own games and enjoy games from other players, famous or not, for your analysis. It does not appear to support extended PGN format for alternate moves but I might not be formatting that correctly for this program (it is supported on other programs).
This is a great app for playing & studying chess. However, it loves to run consistently in the background which is annoying.
