No issues with setup so far. I am using bmy first filter and getting the hang of the nose seal, but it is nice to not have my glasses fogging up anymore. I would love to see more cities in the air quality list and even if there are no official quality numbers maybe they could be crowd sourced by other wearers. Using on a Pixel 6 Pro.
Failed to load? I like that it's limited to about 10 models of phones. So of the people crazy enough to buy this junk, about 5 of them will be able to actual use it on their devices.
5-14-2021 The app itself does not work on Android, I have an S9 Plus, and have not had issues with other apps. As soon as I installed the app and attempted to open it, it forced closed. For $150.00, the company needs to remedy the situation ASAP! Update 5-22-2021 After speaking with customer service, they had IT contact me, and after a couple of fixes, the app works great! No issues, so changing my review to 5 stars now. Thanks again, glad the mask and app does what was intended.
Revising my Review. This app is very obviously meant for Chinese/east Asian markets. The default time zone is located around Shanghai (can't find any way to change it), and the only cities it can seem to reliably find are ones located inside China. I live in a major American city and it can't even find my city for the daily AQI
Check the battery in the halo sensor. Ours came in at 14% out of the box. The sensor would not sync with the app or update it's firmware after numerous attempts. I bought new batteries (CR1632) and replaced them. It worked! App now syncs and updates the sensor firmware with no issues. Even with the plastic tab separating the battery it was losing power somehow. Device used: Galaxy S20FE. Let's hope the app team stays on top of development."
