1Euro1Insan is a project of the Asya Hilfsorganisation e.V., which supports children with SMA (spinal muscular atrophy) worldwide.
Unfortunately, 90% of children/babies with the rare disease SMA lose their survival skills, such as swallowing, breathing and movement, as early as infancy.
Left untreated, SMA is the most common hereditary disease causing death in infancy. Gene therapy treatment, with a 95% success rate, is the only treatment option.
But unfortunately not yet available in all countries and is not covered by health insurance companies. It is the most expensive treatment in the world.

That's why 1Euro1Insan is on the way to support these babies, collect donations and otherwise help the families in this difficult situation.
