With this app, 'tabletop RPG grid maps', a virtual tabletop rpg tool, you can:

Important:
- This app is meant to substitute paper grid maps, so it was designed to work on TABLETS since they have wider surface areas. However, the app also works on any device with a scrolling system.
- This app doesn't contain any info about RPG systems such as d&d (Dungeons and Dragons) or Pathfinder, it only contains regular commonly used tokens for monsters and a few regular commonly used maps.
- The app can be used to substitute Roll20 app but only for presential games, since it works offline and isn't intended to work with internet.

Did not really offer what I wanted. Specifically, creature size is incredibly wonky. Instead of a large being a 2x2, it's more of a 1x2, making units much taller nstead of being wider. the custom token feature ($5) is VERY limited. No fine control, which is something you'd probably want... just a picture, 4 sizes to pick (again, with the same problems as before) and some 90° rotations. Neat. Grid scaling is also not very user friendly. Also pretty buggy UI in general, with overlapping menus.
The idea behind the app is great. Perfect for playing small encounters with limited space. The app is missing some key features, however. It needs the ability to name the heroes (instead of player 1, player 2, etc) and the ability to zoom in/out. Also, I'd love to see a fog of war option. Finally, the ability to scale the grid larger or smaller. These options would make a KILLER app and would be perfect for most DM's needs. Keep it up!
I know you view this as not worth it but I think you have a real product on your hands if you work it a little bit. I personally am considering buying it despite many putting it down. I think if you take it in the direction of an interface for digital battlemap locally or shared it could excel greatly. I personally would buy the $5 if it had a zoom function and ability to save scenario.
Updated my review. The app is improving, you can now zoom in and out the map now
