Twyne is a social mobility app that makes co-riding with people from your home and work communities easy, economical and fun. Twyne uses LinkedIn to help members make quality co-rider selections.

Like to Drive? Simply put in your destination and Twyne will show you working professionals in your community whose next commute is similar to yours. All you have to do is pick one! Of course, Twyne reimburses you for your car costs at a rate of $0.575 per shared mile (the 2019 IRS limit for reimbursement). This is all handled inside the app.

Prefer to Ride? Just request a co-ride 30 minutes (or more) before you plan to leave. Well notify you the moment you score a Twyne or well alert you 15 minutes prior to your latest pick-up time if no one is driving on your route. That way, you can still either drive your own car (and even offer a Twyne to someone else), or just grab a ride hail service.

Either way, youll be sharing your trip with someone interesting, cutting down on your carbon footprint and saving a fair bit of money (over driving alone or ride hailing).
