Sripadarayaru was a Dvaita philosopher, scholar, composer and the pontiff of the Madhvacharya mutt at Mulbagal. He is widely considered as the founder of Haridasa movement. Sripadarajaru is revered by all madhvas. It is believed that he is the incarnation of Dhruva. His contributions to Dvaita, Haridasa Sahitya, and the then existing social and political circumstances were considerable. He was also the vidyaguru of Sri Vyasaraya.Sripadaraya or Sripadaraja is considered to be the originator of Dasakuta.
