I love that you can use the opacity to see your face through the words. Customizable text speed and size etc is good but would be better if you could preview it to make sure it's not too fast before recording. Can't move text box up so it always looks like I'm reading so I won't be able to use this app even tho it's really good.
Works great and it's easy to get the hang of it. My main issue with it is that it only saves the video when it's less than two minutes long, which makes it pretty much useless for what I need. I thought it was a premium feature to record longer, but it seems that it isn't. Is this a glitch or is the app just built this way? Besides that, the features and ability to personalize the script's size and speed is great. This is the only app I've found that scrolls at a proper pace. Too bad I can't save
This is a great little app for reading to a camera and the free version is more than adequate for my needs. I read the negative reviews about the speed of text and the text box cannot be moved but these can be done quite easily. The text box can be moved by holding on to the blue button in the middle of the text box and then it moves easily up to the top of screen. As for the speed, yes it is virtually impossible to get the correct speed but what i do is put it to as close to the speed I want and make sure it goes faster NOT slower than you want and all you have to do is place your thumb (from the same hand that is holding the phone) on the screen to stop the text momentarily and then remove to continue. The thumb cant be seen so is an easy work around. Done a few videos now and I always look as if I know what I am talking about with no script. Great way to cheat!!
I have tried a few of these programs and they all sucked. With Selvi I could was able to record in landscape and most importantly I placed the text box near the camera and resize it so it won't look like I am reading. Ill be honest it crashed once but its still the best I've used.
Horrible user experience. No matter what I did, it didn't work. Just entering the text title was a painful experience. It had a bug because I couldn't write the title text completely. I also couldn't make the text scroll. Either this thing is incredibly buggy or the user friendliness is very bad. I lose my patience and Uninstalled right away"
