In 2012, Peinture Singapore initiated the Asian Museum of Watercolor Art, with its first permanent stop of exhibition in Hainan, China. The Asian Museum of Watercolor Art is an initiative of Mr. Xue, a Chinese-Singaporean entrepreneur.
It is dedicated to promote exchange and development of the world’s watercolor arts while facilitating social public welfare and advancing philanthropic arts causes.

The Asian Museum of Watercolor Art is the first watercolor museum specializing in academic research, collection exchange, exhibitions and arts innovation in China.
