I would say that, for a port, this is very good! The audio and visuals are excellent, basically running like its on an old windows PC . For the controls I am using touch screen on my LG thin Q and are pretty smooth and responsive, I would imagine a game pad would be even better. I only have one small complaint, when selecting a left or right sidekick, the game won't let me select some even though I have enough points. Other than that I love the game!
Buggy touchscreen implementation, certain menu options are unclickable or have no text display. Sidekicks are hard to use and do not have intuitive controls. The game worked great on my old Droid 2 when I had a physical keyboard to play with, but as a touchscreen only game it has some serious problems. The gameplay itself is solid, Arcade mode is perfectly playable, but Story mode is a buggy mess. These problems have existed for over 5 years now without a fix.
Great game I've loved for years. Worked great on my note 4 until I uninstalled it and due to the version couldn't install it again. Now I have a new phone. Yeah I can play online it again. However on my note 9 some of the options when upgrading the ship and its weapons will act like I can't afford them. Even when I can. Please fix this and I'll give 5 stars.
`This game is a wonderful port of one of the best space shooters of all times, but unfortunately you can't play episode 5 (I finished the game lots of times but i can't acces to the bonus episode, I hope that they will add a port for Tyrian 2000 too), also the controls are very frustrating and finishing the game in hard mode is a true chanlage (especialy when you reach the level "new deli" in the fourth episode). I hope in a future update to add the fifth episode.`,Every few years, I find myself rediscovering this game from my childhood. The gameplay, the music, the sheer length of the campaign, the secrets. It's really one of the best scrolling shooter games to ever grace the gaming world and the complete game is now on my phone. Simple amazing."
