I question the accuracy of this device. It reports ~35VAC on a 120VAC line. That's an error of +-71%. Not really useful. I tried a few things, but nothing worked. Fluke 87-V reports 120.8VAC on the same line. It could be a defect, but the 2 of these I purchased are going back. The mooshimeter might work for some people, but I doubt it. It needs a little work. The need for location permission is doubtful. The maker should either justify the need, or drop it from the app. Bye bye mooshimeter!
Outstanding, novel equipment. I use it for high voltage isolated measurements enabled by data link connection by bluetooth. Maker provides python code that we modified to drive multiple devices, 8 in our case, from a pc. I also use it sometimes in the regular way with Android 9.
Just trying to use it after leaving it sitting for a year or so, the batteries are still okay but it wanted to do a firmware update. I've tried at least ten times and it fails every time, now it's failed and I have useless piece metal and plastic.
Unstable and inconsistent. Constant connection and initialization errors. Hangs and disconnects often. Very frustrating to use. Great idea but poor execution. Nearly forgot, will only Write log files to an SD card... Very annoying that I can't use my internal memory
