Use UptoPlay to play online the game LinkStation Player LITE.
LinkStation Player is a simple music player that streams mp3s over the Internet (via Wifi or 3G/4G) from your Buffalo storage device, such as the LinkStation Live! series of Network Attached Storage (NAS) servers.
Includes a built-in image viewer and basic music controls (seek/play/stop/etc) and playlist builder. Queue Download feature lets you play online your playlist for offline listening (paid version only).

This does work..you need to setup DNS and use that as the LS link station name. Look for your link station on your router. Copy port forward address. You will need that for ap setup.Make sure that you point the DNS to your WAN IP address. Considering getting paid version to stream larger than 10 song list. Buffering is a little annoying but once the stream starts afterward it is clean sounding without hiccups
