The app is straight forward. Connecting to wifi not so easy... Newer Android O/S don't allow the default app permissions required to have a successful connection. Even after adjusting this and seeing the wifi network in the connection screen, I still had issues. I used a tablet running an older android O/S and the device connected on the first try. Once the wifi settings were done.. I logged into the app on my phone with the latest O/S and the device is already visible...
Limited not much to pick from go to items to cook and list is very small. App also not the best error checking is poor go off screen in app cant get back to what your cooking or settings. In app started cooking but time in app did not change but on device it was counting down, then tells you its finished cooking. Iv not been able to find any other app that connects and works, not sure it was a good buy now. Other apps seem to have a lot more to them. Shame as the cooker seems well made.
Primitive, graphics need major improvements. automatic meals are all in Celsius. App needs to have the temperature in settings and all recipes will automatically get updated. need to convert each time you cook a different cut. No Alexa support yet, hopefully coming soon. But the Sous Vide is great. See my review on Amazon.ca.
Complete garbage. After finally getting device to register on app after hours of messing around now the device will not even connect to the app. It just says "connection timed out" DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE if you require any sort of wifi connection reliability at all!!
App looks like it was thrown together in 10 minutes. It's making me manually enter my Wi-fi ID and not recognizing it or allowing it to connect. I'm attempting all the very broken English instructions but nothing is working."
