Ispine is an app, which improves the rehabilitation of back pain patients. During the project iSpine will test if rehabilitation of back pain patients can be optimized through better monitoring and feedback of physical training and inactivity. The app gets the information through the sensor, SENS motion, attached on the users upper limp. SENS motion is a high precision sensor system, which will be adapted for monitoring physical activity in a clinical setting on people with limited mobility due to back pain. The app and the sensor support the back pain patients to continue moving during the rehabilitation period in the home environment. The result will be a clinically adjusted product that can be widely used for outpatient treatment of back pain.
