Technology is all around us, but for many of the languages in the world, tools like machine translation and speech technology are not avaialable. Ikata hopes to change that reality. Ikata lets you answer questions about your own language which helps build the datasets needed to develop technology in your language. Earn points just by using your own language! For some languages points can also be exchanged for cash. Compete with other users and see if you can become a superuser!

Users can choose two activities. They can respond to a daily survey with prompts which they reply to in their own language. Or they can check responses in their language and translate them back to Indonesian. Both activities earn points and help users climb the leaderboard.
