It is NOT meant to teach you Hiragana or Katakana.
There are blocks which falls down you need to write them down in romaji. There are a lot of apps which help you learn but they do not need you to improve your time of recognizing thats why this app is created.
If you make mistake you can simple clear some character (backspace), or whole word ("Esc") you need to confirm your answer with "Enter key". If the stack is full, you can always restart the game with "refresh key".
