The route begins at the Liberation Monument, heading along the seafront to the Town Church. It then takes you along the High Street, up Smith Street and onwards to Candie Gardens, before heading down past the old town hospital and ending at Moores Hotel. Then through the lanes of St Martins where Dawsey, Amelia, Isola and Eben all lived in the bestselling novel The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. The walk begins at Sausmarez Manor and then takes you into the picturesque country lanes of St Martins before heading onto the beautiful South Coast Cliffs around Jerbourg Point which to this day are dotted with remnants of the German Occupation.
