GospelDoctrine.com has provided powerful insights to the student of the scriptures for many years. During that time, we've received hundreds, maybe thousands of "thank you" emails. This oft-requested mobile app is now available as a companion to the website.
What is in it? Nearly every chapter of scripture has a corresponding presentation of quotations from scholars and church leaders, interspersed with commentary by the web site's author, broken out by verse.
The insights presented will help deepen one's understanding of the word of God and inspire the reader to better live it.

Recent changes: Some bug fixes. Removed page swipe since it was blocking clipboard functionality. You can now copy text and paste it into your other apps. Also fixed the intermittent "you're offline" message when you weren't actually offline.
If you have an old device (API 16-18), the previous release will remain available. This release is for API 19+.

I am getting the offline message but I am online. I cleared all the info and still got the message. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app and I get the same message. Not sure what is going on. I tried sending this message within the app and got a fatal error. My husband has the app on his tab a and hasn't had any problems. Love it and want to get it working again. It is a Samsung Tab A I also tried submitting this feedback on your website and within the app and get a fatal error.
Use this app daily w/ Gill, Henry, Josephus, etc (for Biblical). Have used its companion website extensively since its genesis online years ago w/ Book of Mormon, so was excited when it became an app! Scholarly explanations to those hard-to-understand verses. Convenient, reference tool for giving lessons, talks, etc. Includes topical content from LDS leaders. Utterly YEARS of grueling effort, tedious, brilliant, & scholarly work has gone into making THIS commentary such a treasure! Thank you!
App is suddenly not opening the chapters. I've reinstalled twice and I still can't get the chapters to open up. It was working great before this problem. I use this very often, please fix.
Excellent. I have never felt this excited to study my scriptures. With this guide I can understand the scriptures better and have a much stronger testimony about the scriptures. Only bug I found was that even though I was online and connected to Wifi the app would still think I was offline.
This app is stellar in every way. The creator of this app has gone to so much work and effort to put together the scriptures and words of the prophets and such so that we may gain more understanding of the Lord's words. Thank you so much for this app. My life has been changed for the better because of all of your works and efforts!!! Thank you!!"
