In Generations: Idle Merchant Town you build up a town by selling resources gathered from the surrounding wilds.
A couple starts a new town along a well travelled road, hoping to provide items of interest to travellers. Expand your town and make your mark on the land - before passing on your knowledge to the next generation to start their own new town.
Sell items in your ever expanding town as a merchant in this pixel art game. Sell wood in the General Store, bread at a Food Cart, or vegetables at the Farmyard. Its your decision on what to sell, and at what shops. Level up and improve your shops to attract more customers, gain more gold and sell more stock. Expand your town and unlock farms to earn more resources, and crafters to make new items which sell for even more! Follow markets, make trades, turn in tasks + complete achievements to become the ultimate merchant.
Send your gatherers out into the wilds to hunt for resources. Forage the Grasslands for berries. Cut through the Forest for logs. Hunt across the Hills for furs. Mine in the Mountains for ore. Fish in the River for eels. Hire the right gatherers for the job, with farmers, lumberjacks, miners and more ready to adventure through the wilds. Then sell these resources in your town to grow. Level your gatherers up to adventure further and make even more profit.
Generations is an idle game that will play whilst you are away. All shops will continue to sell items, and gatherers will continue to collect items even with the game turned off.
Once the Travel Wagon is built, you can start a new town. This prestige mechanic allows you to start from scratch with a new town with new boosts, new shops and new biomes to explore based on the success of your previous town. Reset as many times as you want to ever increasing gains.

Comments:
There is a typo in the description of the worker that collects more hunting mats. It says he collects more "foragers hunter" instead of hunting items or whatever you meant to put. The game doesnt seem to drop any willow logs so you cant craft the willow bow. Other than that keep up the good work, looking forward to a finished game. Edit: the flavor text on pine nuts looks like it is meant for willow logs.
Was kind of fun but apparently it doesn't save often. Played for a few hours and then the game crashed. When I loaded I have lost at least an hour of playing(3 buildings and a gatherer missing). Gave up and uninstalled.
I really enjoy this game! I will literally keep coming back every couple hours! I've gotten all the upgrades with the purple currency and I would LOVE more options! Great game overall! And possibly more vendor options with each new town?
Only a couple hours in at time of writing this review. While there are still some bugs, none of those experienced have been game breaking. Great resource management game.
Enjoying the game. Wish there was a save button as it sometimes crashes losing a fair bit of play.'
