DESCRIPTION
Play this online game named ClearBox.
ClearBox App helps you reduce the clutter of unwanted marketing and solicitations. ClearBox will help you reduce four categories of unwanted marketing:1) Physical Junk Mail
Dramatically reduce your junk mail by stopping mailings from over 3500 companies worldwide, which represent approximately 80% of all direct mail in your mail box. Stop the delivery of most flyers and direct mail offers, as well as some catalogs and magazine offers. It should be noted that political mailings cannot be stopped, and if you’ve given a company permission to send you a catalog by purchasing one of their products, you may need to contact that company directly to stop receiving mail from them.
2) Credit Card & Insurance Offers
Stop receiving pesky credit card and insurance offers! Credit card and insurance offers constitute a large slice of the mail received by American adults. Opting out not only reduces paper waste, it also reduces your risk of identity theft.
Please note that this opt out requires your social security number, so that it may be provided to the credit bureaus to stop the flow of offers to your mailbox.
3) Email Marketing Lists
Unsubscribing from national email lists will not stop spam from coming to your inbox, but it will reduce it. Many email spammers purchase your email address from large national data warehouses. You can remove your email from the databases of thousands of companies by opting out here.
4) Telemarketing Calls
The Federal Trade Commission operates the National Do Not Call Registry, which is FREE to add your phone number(s) to. Telemarketers covered by the Registry have 31 days from the date you register to stop calling you. Phone numbers will remain on the list unless they are disconnected, reassigned, or until the consumer chooses to remove a number from the registry. It is not necessary to register your phone number again once you have already registered it. Please note that due to jurisdictional limitations of the TC and FCC, calls from or on behalf of political organizations, charities, surveyors, companies with which you have an existing business relationship, and companies to whom you’ve provided express agreement in writing to receive their calls, may still contact you.
