Comments:

A very good app for knowing talam while learning carnatic music. Its a free app with absolutely no ads. There is a limit on the number of cycles a talam will be played if you are a free user and the normal talams played by beginners all have 20 cycles, after which we can restart the play. Also for buying, there are 3 different levels of buying. A beginner like me neednot pay the full amount. I can pay a small amount for the first level which is sufficient for a beginner. Upgrade as u progress.

hi, this is a very good attempt and very useful to instrumentalists. usually many violinists tend to close their eyes and follow the varying sound of the metronome to realize the timing. as an improvement can you add different sounds at different stages of thalam? like for example first 4 beats of adi thalam has one sound and can be selected by user and next 2 beats will have one sound and last 2 beats will have another sound. also can we have total iteration count? helpful in swara prastaras

Dear Mantraratnam, appreciate your help in promptly attending to my query and providing a quick clarification. The app has been functional the way it has been described, but it was my misunderstanding. Apologies. Coming to the app itself, I am yet to find its nearest competition on the store. It has been creatively thought-out and intelligently designed. 100 marks to your animation idea of palms and fingers! Although I am yet to explore other features, I can say this is the best for Karnataka classical music which the students can immensely benefit from. Well done sir!

It's a very nice app for musicians. I had a problem. It stops after 4 cycles. I want to extend the tala count till I want to stop it. I also wanted to change the speed of the tala. How di I change it

So far enjoying the app. It is amazing. Appreciate your effort in building this app. But could you tell me if it is one time payment? Or monthly. I'm using an option, that says level 2. And thalam completes in 4 cycle."
