DESCRIPTION
Use UptoPlay to play online the game BS5839 Guide.
BS5839 is the engineering British Standard that guides fire professionals as well as users of fire detection systems. It is a code of practice for system design, installation, commissioning and maintenance.
EMS has encapsulated and interpreted the key elements in an easy to use app, allowing users to reference some of the important essentials when considering fire detection design and application.
This first version also includes additional information and guidance on related subjects such as the reduction of false alarms, which is currently a high profile across the entire fire industry, as well as tools to help identify IP ratings.
There are also a number of external links to ensure that you have the latest information at your fingertips. Additionally there is specific advice on wireless fire detection and EN54-25, the pan European standard applicable to all wireless based fire systems.
This phone app is intended as a guide to BS5839 and should not be used as a substitute for the standard itself. EMS would always recommend that any person working with Fire Alarm systems is familiar with the full British Standard.
Enjoy with UptoPlay the online game BS5839 Guide.

Very Good & Useful.
Easy to use.explains all you need to know about fire alarm systems
I was attending the bs5839 part 1 unit 1 fire detection design course. I was worried about it as being new to this industry i carried out a search online and came across this app. This app was basic and easy to use and with the information as informative as it was, it gave me the start and confidence i needed. This app should be given to all users and especially to those who are buying or having fire system fitted in their premises.
Very basic information, most of which any competant engineer should know off hand. Seems to be aimed at the electrician end of the market.
This is great!'
