Comments:
Great for Play Pass but I wouldn't purchase the game at the listed price ($3.49). The story is insanely short, not very memorable. Decent to kill a few hours. Repetitive and lack of powering up your army is a detractor. If you've got Play Pass it's worth a download.
I liked it, and just when the game felt like it was getting started after an hr or two, I beat it, like wth? I wont complain too much since I got it on sale, but still too short to be purchased and why Im just giving 2 stars.
The game has some decent art, but the plot and character dialogue aren't very memorable (funny, sad, etc). In terms of gameplay, you can only level up 10 times, with no way to train through random encounters; are put on an almost entirely linear path (with little to no reason to return to past areas) and are very limited in your ability to purchase additional units or armour. It's only a simple, short little game that has good Google achievements, except for the requirement to play on hard.
Kudos, Tortuga Team... Really a great game. Definitely worth the money. A series worth investing in. (Also, if it's financially viable, I would love to see a physical release of the trilogy on Switch ;) Keep up the good work!)
Painfully boring, just not flashy or challenging enough to keep anyone's attention. Could use more work in animation, art style and difficulty."
