Computer vision is an interdisciplinary field that deals with how computers/mobile phones can be made to gain a high-level understanding from digital images. In this mobile application, assistive technology has been conceptualized for visually impaired or blind persons. It reads textual information on papers and produces an audible translation of the text using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and TTS (Text-to-speech) system, it is also capable of classifying images like television, hand, bird, pot, tableware as well as Philippine banknotes and many more. The mobile application can be operated via voice commands and all of the features is performed on the device locally without the need of internet connection.

This app is good though it needs a little bit of improvement. Your image recognition is quite random that might confuse people with vision problem. As for the text reader, it's good in a word for word reading but when it comes to multiple words or even a long sentence it doesn't detect the letters very well as well as different fonts. While object detection isn't working. Overall, you guys did a good job and I hope this app helps lot of people. I'm gonna give you 4 stars for now.
