A field guide to terrestrial and marine mammals found in Australia and its territories. Descriptions include identification images, distribution information, colouration details, and a growing amount of behavioural detail.

Use the app. to capture your own records. Records can be uploaded to the Gaia Guide website (http://www.gaiaguide.info/), along with photos and sound files, to help you and others keep track of where these species are being seen.

The field guide includes images for 261 of the 366 species. If you can, please contribute photos via http://www.gaiaguide.info/ to enhance this unique field guide to Australian mammals. Size data is available for about 100 species. If you can contribute size information for any of the species, that would also be appreciated because it will enhance the app's accuracy when using size as a search criterion.
