Play this online game named Academic Flipwords.

Academic Flipwords focuses on sublists 1 and 2 of the Academic Word List. The AWL, developed by Dr AverilCoxhead at Victoria University of Wellington, contains the most frequently used words in academic texts and is essential knowledge for international students planning to study at undergraduate or postgraduate level in English. The flipcards give examples sentences with the words on one side and synonyms on the flipside. The ‘My words’ feature also allows students to store their own examples and notes on the wordlist. This app is ideal for students who need to expand their vocabulary from general to academic English.
