The app might be ok but the cab company sucks and it's no wonder more people use Uber after the experience I had. Stay away from Philadelphia,PA 215GETACAB.. I had a ride setup and pre paid reservation fee for a cab I needed the next day at between 6:15-6:30 AM ( their reservation window, not mine) 6:15 rolled around, there was a cab headed my way and 5 min later, its gone. Now app says finding me a ride. 3 x it does and cancels by itself. I said F it and ordered Uber = perfect ride on time!
I love the dispatchers for their customer service but for the love of God, please throw away the app. Most of the time that I request a cab through the app, the drivers cancel even when they are near my pickup location. It's as if they don't want to do the job. So in order to get a driver, the safest bet is to call by phone. Please get rid of the app.
The woman on the other end of my cab driver's two way radio was horribly mean and offensive. I got in a cab in center city around 5pm on 11/17. My driver was trying to get help with his computer screen and she dismissed him, leading to a good 5 minutes before he could figure it out himself. I listened to her degrade all the other drivers asking for her help throughout the ride. She was not delicate about accents and I felt bad for all drivers. So crazy. A stream of rudeness and anger. Really?
Doesn't work, all it does is buffer and when you try to call it takes 15 minutes or more to get through to dispatch. If I could I would give it a zero
`When it works, it's convenient, but mostly it tries for 5 minutes and tells me no drivers are available. Or it says contact your driver at such and such number then immediately says "Sorry, we couldn't find you a ride."`Page navigation:
