Home HealthCare Conversations play online

The Home Healthcare Conversations app addresses hazards in the home that pose a risk of injury to home healthcare workers and other people in the home. It was developed collaboratively, with home healthcare workers. Home Healthcare Conversations provides guidance to home healthcare workers who need to discuss changes to their clients home environments to improve health and safety for both worker and client. HHC is an on-demand resource that gives Home Healthcare Workers access to information about difficult-to-discuss hazards in client homes, suggested conversation strategies for addressing the hazards, conversation saving strategies for turning a challenging discussion around, and succinct videos of conversations between home healthcare workers and clients and family members. Information is embedded in cases studies and includes a summary of each video example to highlight the most effective strategies.
