Ultrasound guided vascular access requires both the skill to manipulate the transducer to obtain the appropriate image of the target vein as well as the skill to manipulate the needle to the vein. This game is designed to develop both of these skills, helping the player understand the incremental step wise approach needed to safely place a needle into a vein using ultrasound.
