The Darkest Tower Defense is an independent strategy game whose objective is to prevent the horde of the Soulless from reaching the Sainte Arche, the last bastion of humanity.
For this, you must build defenses and position your troops on strategic locations in order to defend the paths of Terre-Croix. However your resources are limited and you will have to adapt your strategy according to the levels.
Earn runes and spend them in a skill tree to expand your defense arsenal. Will you choose the path of Shadow or Light?
You will not have to face only minor demons, demonic bosses with infernal capacities will come to foil your plans and only your heroes will allow you to turn the tide of the battle!

`Needs work for difficulty, Grinding is not fun and although it's necessary early game is ridiculous to the point of insanity. A game that does not hold your hand is not just hard but has mini victorys and I can only say anxiety inducing. This is a niche community so take the 5 stars with a grain of salt be prepared for an "experience" of mostly regret and pain. (Also I understood all the towers and I've been on level 3 for about 20 trys) maybe I just suck`,I enjoy playing along throughout the levels with the really nice graphics and lot of different cool features. Great sounds and game play.
Great graphics, gets difficult pretty quickly so be prepared to grind away or PTW.
Needs more customizable stuff in my opinion. I love the difficuty.
Great TD with challenging levels from start. Cool dark and gloomy atmosphere.'
