I like the aura and feeling of being far away. The puzzles were challenging. I did need to resort to the walkthrough a handful of times (eye roll). It takes a little extra patience getting used to the star man's unhurried shuffle. All in all, I enjoyed this game and was wishing for more levels.
This game is meant to be zen, it's not fast paced. The puzzles weren't overly hard, the music was beautiful, the levels were just right in length. My only complaint is that the ending is anticlimactic, but the Flow mode afterward makes up for it.
Doesn't respect the player's time: the pacing is agonizingly slow. This game repeatedly forced me to do nothing but wait for over 30 seconds at a time (I counted) as my character slowly walks from one side of the screen to the other!!! THAT'S RIDICULOUS!!!!! It would take limitless patience to make it through this game and enjoy it. Somehow I beat it despite my frustration, which it turns out unlocks a bonus gamemode that is actually 10000x more interactive & enjoyable than the base game!!!
It would be a better game if you could somehow gain hints when you dont know what to do next, either by purchasing them or earning them. I was just starting to get into it and enjoy myself when I got stuck on the 3rd or 4th level. I quickly got frustrated and uninstalled after about 5 minutes of getting nowhere.
Walk around a camp fire in the woods at night. Clicked everywhere, can't interact with the fire, can't leave the campfire. Got bored really fast and uninstalled."
