The Education Division, Indian Council of Agricultural Research had sanctioned a Centre for Advanced
Agricultural Science and Technology (CAAST) project entitled Establishment of Secondary Agriculture
Unit for Skill Development in Students and Farmers at Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, Gujarat
under National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP).
This project aims to acquaint PG students, faculty members, and technical project staff with the latest
technologies in secondary agriculture, capacity building, competence development, product
development, and commercialization.
The unit-02 of the CAAST Sub- project shall focus on Scientific Utilization of Non-Timber Forest Products
and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants. Wherein development of a mobile App is a key indicator and the
objective behind developing this mobile application is to provide a platform to the aspirants of ICAR-
JRF/SRF for Ph.D. Students erstwhile ICAR-SRF, ICAR-PG Scholarship erstwhile ICAR-JRF, NET, ARS,
different state-level and other competitive examinations in the subject of Forestry Science subject was
thought off.
We hope this Mobile Application will be beneficial for the aspirants of ICAR-JRF/SRF for Ph.D. Students
erstwhile ICAR-SRF, ICAR-PG Scholarship erstwhile ICAR-JRF for M.Sc. students, NET, ARS, different
state-level and other competitive examinations in the subject of Forestry Science subject.
