Why do young people decide for an apprenticeship or university studies? Starting from this question, the project carried out a comparative analysis of the decision factors as well as an investigation of the most important influencing factors.

In addition, a catalogue of the most important personal strengths and weaknesses was drawn up, relating to the main influencing factors identified.
Based on these strengths, a measuring instrument for the potentials and interests of the young people could be created in order to increase their career orientation. The basic idea behind this is that if the most important factors influencing a young person's career decision can be measured, then it is possible to provide individual and profitable advice to this group after a test.

The UniVET project pursues the long-term goal of improving the career orientation of young people in all partner countries.

The UniVET project has analysed current trends and their drivers in all partner countries in order to create detailed information services for the main target groups (grammar school pupils, drop-outs, parents, schools, employers).

"UniVET - University or Vocational Education and Training" is running under the direction of TALENTBRCKE GmbH & Co. KG and is supported by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. The project consortium consists of members from Germany, Spain, Lithuania, Italy and Poland.
