Use UptoPlay to play online the game Racetec.
Using the RaceTec app, anyone can track the progress of friends and loved ones in any RaceTec timed event.
The RaceTec app now also enables you to enter and view all events entered through the app, as well as see your results in one place.
To track someone using the app, simply use their name and surname, or race number (if available) to find them. Once you've selected participants to follow, the app will display the event timing points they've crossed so far, and (soon-to-be-added), the estimated time that they are expected to pass through the next timing point on the route.
General, tracking and individual event notifications can be received by the app, and users are also able to use the app to send feedback to the RaceTec team indicating how we can improve the app.
NOTE:
1) The ability to receive tracking updates and notifications is almost entirely dependent on the quality of your mobile data or Wi-Fi connection, which is something out of our control. So please try to position yourself for the best possible data signal to your phone.
2) Occasionally a tracking mat may not register a runner's tracking chip and therefore won't appear in the tracking list for that runner.
3) You must "Allow Notifications" when you first run the app in order to receive tracking updates and other information during events

`This is the WORST app I have ever downloaded. Took 5 tries to get the thing to download. When I eventually got it to download, it wouldn't load a single thing. I got a "no internet connection" even though I was connected to my 20mps wifi. So, I thought I'd use mobile data instead because hey, maybe it was my wifi. Well that still didn't work. I have since given up after I tried to submit feedback on how kak this app is and got a "feedback error" after submitting. Wow. Just like, do better.`,Some years now since app was released and still not working. 1.5 hours into race not registered start. If you want to see your times after the race (history) fine to track at waypoints don't even think of it, can it be so difficult. It is as if NO development is going into improving. This app could be greate but falls horribally short.
Used to be a good app for tracking but since the 947 race it only shows the persons I am tracking's starting time, anything after that it keeps on saying no connection, retrying. It doesnt matter if I have internet or are connected to wifi, it seems like there is a glitch somewhere as this has been happening with more than one race now.
Neither did it work on my & my friend's phone. My friend wanted to track me on the App for the Cape Town Cycle Tour yesterday, but no internet connection, which was 100% because all other Apps are & were fully functional. Racetec needs to investigate their App - it's seriously annoying! The same problem was reported last year with the CTCT 2020. Racetec doesn't respond at all!
App no longer works. Says no internet connection when this is not the case. Pity. Used to be a great help in the past. Developer seem totally uninterested in solving. the problem.'
