Experience is great, I only wish you can support other audio and video apps for the rhythmic application. Now if I want to listen to song as well the background lighting. I can do so with the app, that's great but it only support offline song and no video. Also there are other improvement like during song brightness control, color control will be great. I personally think these spacially the other application control will be a great addition to the app. Any way 3 for now.
App refuses to connect/detect bulb 50% of the time. Says "device offline". Claimed warranty and got a new bulb very promptly with excellent customer service. Freshly installed app. Same problem. Factory reset the phone. Same. Tried with simple pairing on/off in phone settings, blth scanning on/off, no improvement. Same issue found on 2 android 10 phones. Excellent hardware, let down by a glitchy app.
It connects for the first time,then if you connect any other device to the Bluetooth and then try to connect back again,it just won't show the bulb.No way of geting back in.This bulb wants that the user(phone) shouldn't use any other device forever.
I may have a fix. I had the same problem mostly everyone has with the app about it not being able to connect to the app. I connected it the first time and then I deleted the bulb from the app and wasn't able to connect it again even after reinstalling the app. However I think I may have found the fix. I noticed that the bulb only responds to the app if the bluetooth as well as the location is on. If it's just the bluetooth the blub doesn't respond. Hence the 3 stars for poor app development.
It works properly when it get connect. But most of time it fail to connect. There is no such option provided to detect devices. It automatically search and connected whenever it want. Many times I waited a lot to connect.'
