You need BOTH APPS smh. You need both Aura apps for the lights to work with the app. Once you doenload this app and get the lights to appear - hop on the other app and use the "Intellegent Bluetooth Pairing" it should pop up within a few moments or so. Afterwards, connect in the second app and Boom Bam Bingle you have lights that work VIA app.
`First off the app is far from user friendly. The Group Manage make no sense. Absolutely no instructions for any of the settings. "Shake Option" doesn't have an information about how to use it or what it does. "Modify Pin Sequence" has no instructions or what it even does. Please update the app for a better user experience. Everything is trial and error at this point. Last update was almost 3 years ago! I wouldn't recommend this app until these problems are fixed!`,It worked at first but then the next day it wouldnt worl anymore i dont know if im doing anything wrong but i put a color feel asleep woke up amd the thing was off then when i turned it on it wouldnt work i deleted the app and downlaoded it again it worked but when i put another color i wasnt on my phone the light was on then when i came back i tryed to do the thing again and it wasnt working it still isnt
Would give those app a 0 if possible due to the simple fact it doesn't work. Dont even try to contact customer support for help because the only advice they have is to unplug and replug it until it works. Absolute joke of an app.
Don't download. Every single time the app opens, it wants location access. Couldn't get bluetooth to even pair, said it requires location access to work. I did actually try to enable location, just to see if it would work, and the app literally crashed my phone instantly into a reboot. Uninstalled! It's probably malware, because there is absolutely zero reason, or function, that should be needing access to your phone's location, to change LED colors. Just use the light bar's included remote."
