It's a decent compass app that can be set to overlay a Google map. I would have preferred if it displayed not just the N-E-S-W directions, but also the in-between directions like sse nne, etc. I like to use the compass to view NASA's flyovers of the International Space Station. The directions they give include the in-between directions like nne, ssw, etc.
First app that works on this phone my other phone would not magnetically click so I couldn't use it but now I can use it cuz I've got a phone it's actually got whatever it needs to tell me which way is north south east west and I love it
Immediately got a calibration notice. Arm got tired of doing figure 8s. Never changed from medium . Ok finally figured it out. close the notice and then do figure 8s. Now calibrated. needs better instruction or maybe a calibration setting. changed to 4 stars.
3 most important things missing. Map Satellite & Pan & Temperature in Fahrenheit. Why cant the app show Fahrenheit instead of Celsius? when is this going to be updated? this is why i rate this app 3stars instead of 5. plus you cant view maps in satellite view or move around freely in maps. you can only zoom in & out.
Works great but puts disruptive, deceptive ads up, taking over the whole screen and disrupting whatever I am doing even when the compass app is NOT open. This is unacceptable... uninstalled.'
