The app brick the phone. Slow process and connecting. I don't like it.
Horrible app. Was able to connect to the WiFi once but had no options for anything. My model isn't even on the list that shows and in the connect to WiFi I now see nothing. I have reset the cam several times forgotten the network ,tried to start then connect then the other way round. Nothing. Even the feedback button never submitted the feedback. I have never given any software a worse review than this. If I could give negative stars I would. The u is horrible, there is no help, no faq, no online tutorial, nothing. Someone let me know if any other app works with various cams cause this one is a no go.
Running on Samsung Note 20. Decent app., but instructions need improvement. To get things working, you have to connect to your WiFi action camera FIRST, and be sure you enter/save the password in the connection of the phone. Someone else noted that your PHONE can be a problem and warn you that the connection to the action camera doesn't have internet. Your phone will then try to switch to a connection that does have internet, but don't allow it. Keep the phone connected to the action camera, and set it to auto-connect. Once connected to the camera, you can start the app., and touch the button to open the connected device. At that point, you should see the user interface for your camera, and a preview on your screen. The app. features are exactly as expected, allowing to you use your phone as the viewing device for both preview and during recording. You have access to all recording controls for the action camera, and the hand held remote still works fine. You can also view recorded video, and pictures on your phone. Once you get past the initial configuration/connection process, the app. still works great!
Desperately needs an update. Barely works,if that. Annoyingly enough it seems to work far better on iOS
Phone needs to be in Airplane Mode! Even if it appears to be connected a 3G/4G signal messes it up. (Android ZTE Blade Max) Turn on Airplane Mode then go back into WiFi settings and turn just that back on, then connect and it works! With that said still only gets 3 stars because the app is feature poor, not very intuitive and occasionally crashes.'
