I don't get it. There's no rhythm or puzzle play, as the description states. That's flat out false, which seems bizarre. There's not even really racing. You have limited slots, power ups are random, you can only swap once every 5+ seconds, sometimes you still get something you can't use or a duplicate...There's no skill here, just chance on what the dice rolls determine you get. Nice aesthetics, but there's no game to this game. And apparently I can't refund it, which is a massive bummer.
Cute art design, but gameplay is lacking. You have to rapidly use one of various tools or power-ups to survive obstacles. These are limited in quantity, and your run only lasts as long as your power-ups. You only have 3 slots, but there are more than 3 power-ups. If the wrong ones are up, you fail. The types are placed randomly in the 3 slots. Swiping to change to another power-up is too slow and often fails, wasting your power-up. Runs are very short ... Is this a new "Endfull runner" genre?
I really wanted to like this game. I gave it a 3 star because the game itself is beautiful and fun to play. But the fact that your progression is based on just luck and nothing else makes the game feel broken to me. At least disable the cool down of the tool swap and balance it by maybe adding more obstacle frequency or something . I just feel like I might as well just go flip a coin and take a shot Everytime it lands on heads and have the same/or a better experience doing that instead.
Love the design! Love the gameplay & the extra tid-bits it trows at the player throughout the game! Nothing bad to say here, just a really cool, unique, clever game. I guess one little caviat would be that a major part of the gameplay includes swiping around the side of the phone screen which is a gesture used in Android, so it can result in accidental closing of the game.
Unique, but underbalanced... you either have to be good at the whole last second timing thing, or you eventually get to a point where you can't progress...those dang piano tile games are easier....after so long, you will spend as much coinage on powerups, which the game runs on, as you will make per run....some tasks require you to crash and HOPE you did so in the correct spot...gets old quick..."
