Pakistan Super League PSL is the franchise T20 tournament by Pakistan Cricket Board. The tournament has founded in 2015 & the First edition was arranged in 2016. 5 teams have participated in the first edition of PSL.

PSL 2022 is the 7th season of the Pakistan Super League. 6 teams are participating in this season. They are:

Islamabad United
Peshawar Zalmi
Quetta Gladiators
Multan Sultans
Karachi Kings
Lahore Qalandars

34 T20 matches will be played at PSL 2022. The match will be played at National Stadium, Karachi & Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The tournament will be held from 27 January 2022 to 27 February 2022. The National Stadium in Karachi will host 15 matches, while the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host 19 matches including the playoffs. The PSL is played in a double round-robin format. Every team plays each other twice and the top four advance to the Playoffs.

In the group stage teams are ranked on the following criteria:

The higher number of points
If equal, better run rate
If equal, the highest number of wins
If equal, fewest losses
If still equal, the results of head to head meeting
