According to hindu mythology all days of week are dedicated to different gods like Monday is considered the best day of worshipping lord Shiva, similarly Tuesday for Hanuman and Thursday for lord Sai & Friday for maa Durga and Laxmi ji etc. Every god and goddess has its own importance in Hinduism in some way or the other.
