This app lets you play Resistance, along with its expansion game, Avalon, on your phone. Resistance is a party game for 5-10 players. It is a social deduction game, similar to Mafia or Werewolf. This app lets you play Resistance without having to use any of the game pieces, and only one person has to have it on their phone. The app keeps track of everything, from names to roles to passes and fails. It also contains an in-depth explanation of the rules. The biggest benefit, however, is that the app removes the need for a night phase where everyone is supposed to close their eyes. This means that nobody can cheat by peeking.

Comments:
People sometimes click and pass the phone without looking while not realizing the button was disabled. Adding a countdown to the Wait/Next button and disabling click events should fix that problem. Otherwise, really good and straightforward. I really like that it saves the names, and that it doesn't show any additional info compared to the board game (for example listing who went on each mission etc.). It basically recreates the board game experience. Adding Lady of the lake would be amazing.
The simple mechanics makes easy to replay or create a new game without any frustration, it saves the players names and the minimalism in the HUD makes the game better showing only necessary information without disturbing too much the spies who need to take advantage of the other players mistakes. So tried to break the app such as failing a mission as a resistance member (which we had player do on the board game version). The aesthetics is something to be desired but they are functional. Would be nice if there were also audio ques to pass the phone.
Game progress is lost on all too frequent crashes. Intrusive advertising make interruptions constant. This app will kill your party game.
`"This app lets you play Resistance without having to use any of the game pieces" in other words, the developer has illegally copied the game and put it into digital form, not recognising the original creator or rewarding the creator of the game.
