I have no idea who gave Scripps the idea to move to app only mode???? I have had the opportunity to use the Word Club when my first child, 17 years now, was into Spelling Bees which was very very helpful and user friendly. THIS APP IS A MESS!!! The interface/UI is VERY VERY CONFUSING and NOT USER FRIENDLY AT ALL. We can have Apps but why take away the desktop version? We can't print words to test out if you are tired of screen time???Jesus!! This is crazy. If a student is studying, my phone is tied down, if we don't have another mobile device while the laptops are laying down crazily falow...PLEASE BRING BACK THE DESKTOP VERSION and the interface where we unlock each level one after the other with the ability to print the words and definitions.
This app has made learning words so much easier for my spelling bee participant. The pronounce feature stops once in a while but after he closes and restarts the app, it works again. I also notice that when he spells "alma mater
its always counted wrong. Not sure of what hes doing wrong. Overall, we love the app and the extra word packs are well worth the cost.I came here to access the school lists, no luck. Interface is very confusing. I wish Scripps would stick to the computer version, and not completely terminate it and replace it with an app. And if you get this app, you have to spend $25 to unlock all word packs, if you want to not spend much, I would recommend looking at old word lists. For new spellers though, have $25 ready.
