Game prevents solution to problem 49: rook to top-right, promotes -> opposing king moves down one -> gold dropped between the opposing knight moves (doesn't check) -> opposing king can't move away and his pieces can't defend him, so victory on your move with the lance I assume the problem was entered from a book but not playtested (game forces you to put the enemy king in check with every move) On that note I don't like restarting the app each time the king gets too far away to check, no reset!
Nice tsume shogi problems for beginners. There is a story, which sadly hasn't been translated to English, but you don't have to understand it to play."
