NRC - Nieuws achtergronden play online

The free NRC app offers you the latest news and the digital version of the paper newspaper. Moreover, it gives you the opportunity to compile your own news bundle and to always be aware of your following topic(s).

In the 'News' tab you will find out what is really going on: the most important news is always at the top. Read something you want to share? This can easily be done via, for example, Whatsapp, Facebook, e-mail or in a text message.

New users get the first newspaper for free. NRC subscribers can read unlimited in the app after logging in. As a non-subscriber you can buy individual newspapers in the app.

The latest newspaper is available in the app every day from 11 p.m. After downloading the newspaper, you can continue to read offline. When opening the app, the latest newspaper is automatically displayed. Read a newspaper? No problem. In the newspaper overview you can view and play online old editions.

Many articles on the site have topic suggestions. Think: American politics, children's book reviews or artificial intelligence. You will also find other news themes, columnists and sections in the app. Those topics can be followed, simply by clicking on them. If you follow a number of topics, a personal bundle with your stories will be created in the My News section.

Immediately informed about urgent news? Or get a notification when a new article about climate change, Formula 1 or organized crime is published? With the NRC app you are always immediately informed of the latest news and your most important follow-up topics.

You can save an article that you want to read (back) later in your personal reading list. This can be done from the digital newspaper as well as from the 'news' tab. Your reading list is synced with all devices you log in with. Save an article via the app, read more on your desktop.
