The SilverCrest Smart Audio App is no longer under development and will no longer be available in Play Store as of 01/07/2022.
We would like to ask you to install the UNDOK app from Frontier Smart Technologies, which is also available in the Google Play Store, in order to continue to benefit from updates. The settings you have made will be applied. When installing the UNDOK app, you only need to accept the required permissions and agree to the privacy policy in order to use the UNDOK app.
Smart Audio allows you to add multiple speakers to a multi-room zone to play music in sync around the house; or have your speakers play different music, and control all of them from the same app. Set the volume of the group or individual devices, play/pause, browse content in your DLNA compatible music libraries, and play internet radio stations from the built-in portal featuring over 20,000 stations and podcasts, all from within one app. Smart Audio is also compatible with Spotify Connect so you can play your music directly from your Spotify app into your group of speakers. Other supported audio sources include line input, DAB, FM radio, Bluetooth. The sources displayed in Smart Audio will depend on the functionality enabled in your audio device.

Well, I was hoping to use this app to connect and play music through many Bluetooth speakers simultaneously, but the first thing the app requires is a WI fi connection. Would be great to have a truly wireless speaker set up in my living room without a complicated set up process.
I first installed this app in ~2017 after purchasing a set of Silvercrest speakers, at the time I found it incredibly unreliable and difficult to set up and use. The speakers went into a box and weren't used. I recently (Sept 2021) set up the system again and updated the app and it's MUCH better. It's still not brilliant, and if this were a high end purchase I would score it lower, but for the cost of the system this is perfectly decent and the small hiccups are pretty much expected in a budget system - they definitely don't stop me using this system across my apartment every day with very few problems (sound sometimes cuts out for a few seconds, more likely to do with my wifi network tbh) I hope they keep up with development on this app (and the firmware) and continue to improve and add enhancements (I'd vote for Tidal Connect please! Tidal is supported but not via the dedicated Connect system which would be an amazing addition)
`Had problems streaming/connecting to a setup of 5 (Silvercrest) UNDOK devices. I found a setting on my wifi router: called "Enhanced Multicast Forwarding" which is disabled by default. Once I enabled this option, the system reliability improved , but in general is still pretty flakey. General->NetworkSettings->Wireless->'Enhanced Multicast Forwarding' = enable.`,This App works BUT it's really only just ok. I have no idea how to create favourites and if you have to search for a station then it takes several minutes. You can save a few stations (thank God) but the interface is just really clunky and unintuitive...
With my speaker, the software does not support Amazon Music and there are no plans to add YouTube music. The quality of the audio from the speaker is good, but it is really let down by poor software and and lack of support for two major music providers.'
